There was something curious
in the way you kept trying to hide away in the corners and closed off spaces.  Caged in with chairs, wedged in between cabinets.  I wondered if it was just an eccentric quirk of yours or if you really just wanted to disappear.  Or did you just need to know that people would notice if you hid, if you acted strangely?   Chances are it was just something really fucking dumb.
